The "mini" Speaker Microphone is an excellent addition to a business class radio.  It allows the radio to stay in it's holster which keeps your hands free for work.  With the speaker closer to your ear it's possible to turn down the radio volume and reduce noise pollution at your workplace.  It stays out of the way when your busy and has a private listening earphone jack for when you are operating in public places an wish to remain discreet and professional.  The addition of the QD™ adapter reduces costs related to sharing radios.
